Well now we know that Barack Obama is no better than Hilary Clinton when it comes to campaigning. When you are with very liberal and wealthy campaign donors in San Francisco, you stroke their egos by talking about Pennsylvania rural white people drowning their bitterness in the “opium” of their religion among other things. (Shades of Karl Marx). That Obama is aloof, arrogant and condescending is not too hard to see. Hilary Clinton and others are using the wrong word in depicting his arrogance as “elitist”. That word enables him to deflect attention from is bigoted and stereotypic words about rural white Americans. Barack is right in charging Clinton and McCain with being “elitist”. However neither one so far in their campaigns have made a negative generalization of any racial or demographic group in American. Obama did and in true “politics as usual “fashion he will probably talk his way our of it. I just wish Obama would just drop his “change you can believe in” mantra, because Barack Obama’s campaigning is after all “politics as usual”.
