The nude painting of a massive woman has gotten the attention of the art world and possibly upset the sensibilities of what beauty is. I find the painting “erotic art” with the twist that the artist and model are still living. The painting reminds me of some of Pablo Picasso’s paintings of massive nude or partially nude women. If “Mother Nature” was personified as a woman, in my mind She would be a massive woman, much like the Lucien Freud painting of Ms. Sue Tilley. Remember , “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Massive things have a unique grandeur, as does this wonderful painting, in my opinion.
